VIFF

We're leaving for the Vancouver International Film Festival today. Also, the Best of the Best Festival is this weekend at the McDonal Theater in Eugene, Oregon. Everybody in the area should go. Bring your friends too. I'm sure my parents will take loads of pictures, so I'll post some of them when I get back from Vancouver. Check back on wednesday to hear the weekend went!

Death Hips Out!

The Death of Theodore Graham is going to screen this weekend at the "Best of the Best Film Festival." The festival is part of the Eugene Celebration in Eugene, Oregon. The Festival runs all weekend at the McDonald Theater, and Death will play on Sunday evening. If you live anywhere near Eugene, you should definitely check out the Celebration, it's good stuff.

Unfortunately, Celeste and I will not be there because we'll be in Vancouver attending the Vancouver International Film Festival, but my parents will be at the screening. Keep an eye out, they'll be the ones dancing up and down the aisles wearing tye dye and stinking like patchouli oil.......oh wait, that'll be everybody.

Help Send Celeste to Munich!

We've added a donation link to the right side of the page to help send Celeste to the Munich International Festival of Film Schools. The Festival is compensating me for my travel expenses but are offering no assistance to Celeste.

The link connects you to Paypal where you can make a donation that will go directly and instantly to Celeste. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Death in the Media

I've added some links to a couple of articles about some of the festivals we've screened at. One of them is an article from the Portland Mercury that talks about the Forest Film Festival. The writer had some pretty awesome stuff to say about TDOTG. I'm not sure if I agree with all of it, but it made my Mom proud. The other article is about the Sea to Sky Festival in Squamish, British Columbia. Check 'em out.

Death goes to Germany!

The Death of Theodore Graham has been accepted into the 25th Annual Munich International Festival of Film Schools! This puts me one step closer to my dream of becoming a German Superstar. The best part is that the festival is paying for me to travel to Germany to attend the festival! The festival runs from November 19th to November 26th. Celeste (the co-writer of the film) is going to come too, and we're going to try to hit up some other parts of Europe while we're over there.

Hopefully I can find a cheap place to get online and update the blog everyday while we're there, but if not, I'll still send some updates from my cell phone.

Death goes to Vancouver!

Celeste (the Co-Writer) here,

We received word last week that The Death of Theodore Graham got accepted to the Vancouver International Film Festival. Which was awesome because it's a huge festival. Even more awesome because it's Death's Home turf (We were attending the Vancouver Film School when we made it). And awesomest because I've been trying to find a reason to visit Vancouver since about 3 months after we left, and this is the perfect excuse... Now if only I could find an excuse to get Erik to go to Disneyland with me...Does Anaheim have any good film festivals?

Death will be screening at the Pacific Cinematheque on Howe St at 9:30 pm on Saturday October 1st ($9.50). And then again at 10:00 am on Monday October 3rd (7.50). All are welcome to attend, we would love to see some of our old school buddies there...just not certain ones...YOU know. I'm sure we'll meet up at the Jolly Tax Payer after the screening to do some reminiscing.

Hope to see some familiar faces at the show. But a theater full of laughing strangers works the same.

Welcome to the Blog of Theodore Graham!

In November of 2004, a small crew of film students and I began production of a short comedy called "The Death of Theodore Graham." After several drafts, 2 weeks of pre-production, 5 days of production, and 3 weeks of post-production, we had our movie.
Now it's been almost a year since we started working on the film, and in the past few months it's really started to get some attention. As of now, the film has screened at two film festivals and has been accepted into three other film festivals.
I decided to start this blog in hopes of getting the film more exposure, and also as a means to keep friends, family, and whoever else is interested up to date with everything that's happening with the film.
Welcome to The Blog of Theodore Graham!
